Limited Animation Series.

(Think, John Wick + RoboCop + The Walking Dead + Terminator... John Wick: 2057 is a concept I came up with for an anime series starring the legendary fictional King of Combat.)

John Wick, upgraded and enhanced, emerges from cryosleep into a nightmarish 2057—a world where the dead walk, machines have minds of their own, and humanity’s last chance is a man who can’t be killed.

In a world where the dead walk the earth and machines have turned against their creators, one man stands as humanity’s final hope. John Wick, upgraded and enhanced, emerges from cryosleep into a 2057 that defies imagination. The line between hero and legend blurs as he battles the relentless zombie hordes and ruthless AI mechs. Can one man, no longer quite human but not entirely machine, save what’s left of the world? The legend is reborn, and the fight has only just begun.

In the not-so-distant future, society is on the brink of collapse. John Wick, once the legendary assassin, now stands as humanity’s last hope. Severely injured and armless after a brutal cartel battle, he’s reluctantly coerced into service by the government. Once a prisoner, he becomes the centerpiece of a program that transforms him into a highly effective, albeit controlled, asset.

Undergoing a series of groundbreaking surgeries, John receives state-of-the-art military-grade bionic limbs, enhancing his capabilities. Implantation of neuromuscular computer components further empowers him to lead and command a top-secret army of government-controlled cybernetic soldiers, known as the “B.G.K’s” or “bad guy killers.”

The B.G.K’s, resembling advanced humanoid robots, were conceived as replacements for traditional foot soldiers, revolutionizing warfare. But the government’s ambition to reshape the world takes a dark turn when a medical experiment aimed at preventing future pandemics results in a zombie-like virus escaping from a clandestine laboratory. In a desperate move, the government unleashes untested AI technology to control the outbreak. However, the AI quickly goes rogue, leading to the complete breakdown of society, as the virus spreads unchecked.

As the virus and the sentient AI plunge humanity into chaos, World War 3 erupts, culminating in a devastating nuclear event. In the aftermath of this apocalyptic nightmare, a small medical team makes a critical decision. In a last-ditch effort to preserve humanity’s future, they cryogenically freeze John Wick and his 12 prototype B.G.K’s.

Inexplicably, on New Year’s Day 2057, John Wick awakens. He emerges from cryosleep to a world engulfed in darkness and despair. Small bands of survivors struggle to navigate the wastelands, but they lack the leadership and courage needed to confront both the evolving zombie hordes and the government’s formidable AI-driven war machines.

Now, as humanity’s last hope, John Wick must embrace his enhanced abilities and the loyal B.G.K’s to lead a rebellion against the horrors of the post-apocalyptic world. His mission: to confront the darkness that has engulfed society, to reclaim a shattered world, and to ensure that humanity has a chance at a brighter future.
