Hi, I’m Tim, I am the mad scientist and pixel-wizard behind the curtain here at ZedCo. Studio. I have been a photographer and digital artist now for over 20+ years.

A lot of my creative work is inspired by a lifelong love of cinema and pop culture, dating back to my childhood and countless hours spent sitting in hospitals and waiting rooms with my severely disabled sister. In the age before iPhones and tablets, I immersed myself in comic books, movies (VHS) and video games (Sega Mega drive) to try and pass the time.

My love for art & creative expression grew over the years and in my early 20’s, I launched my career as a wedding photographer. Since then, my scope of experience includes weddings, engagement shoots, maternity and family portraits, corporate headshots, architecture, product and commercial photography, high-end fashion photoshoots and landscapes.

My obsession for creating EPIC imagery

Whilst traditional photography has been a wonderful tool of artistic expression for me from a very young age, I always admired Hollywood magic and special FX and always yearned to go crazy and create my own digital masterpieces, so every chance I could I practiced and refined my Photoshop skills over the years. My passion for digital art and design would often come up ad-hoc during standard shoots, even during wedding photos... 

“Oh, you guys like basketball...? Cool, how about we create a photo of the Bride dunking over the groom and groomsmen...?” 

Yeah, I always had a thirst for creating “WOW” images and it never really went away.

Blindsided by Ai

Then one day out of nowhere, Ai appeared and all of a sudden, this explosion of creativity and possibility burst from my brain and into my life and I was immediately obsessed and still am! This incredible technology really allowed me to indulge in every creative idea I’ve had since I was a kid and really draw from an entire bank of ideas that had laid dormant, enabling my creativity to truly express itself and my imagination has since done nothing but sincerely run wild and free.

Along with this influx of inspiration, I was instantly aware of the extensive benefits and applications for Ai and I was able to see how this emerging technology had so much potential for custom masterpieces and creative content for anyone and everyone to use, either personally or professionally. No longer would there be the limitations of costly wardrobes, location logistics and exhaustive time-consuming photoshoots. It really has evened the playing field, so to speak.
